My name is Petra Kliba. I started sailing with 15 in an optimist and since then I have never stopped discovering the world with a sailing boat.  I am an individual sailing coach for teams, clubs and individuals from dinghies to bigboats since 2003 (German and Italian licence).

My main sailing experiences and projects:

• Watch leader and Co-Skipper of the Austrian Whitbread Challenge on the round the world race in 11 months, sailing 33.000nm (1996 – 1997)

• sailing instructor for the BMW Italia – Drive&Sail, Match Race Academy (2009 - 2012)

• sailing instructor for BMW South, Central and Eastern Europe – Sail Racing Academy (2009 - 2013)

• coordinator of the whole Women Match Race Team for the Olympic Campaign London 2012; 2-time Croatian Women Match Race Champion; Best world ranking: 22nd on the ISAF Women's Match Race Ranking list

• Skipper of the Giraglia Rolex 2012 on the 48-foot boat “Fra Diavolo” for the BMW Sail Racing Academy

• Watch leader and Co-Skipper of the whole German Women Sailing Team KPMG DHH (2006 – 2008) at the North Atlantic Crossing HSH nordbank blue race 2007, Newport to Hamburg; Watch leader at the Baltic Sprint Cup 2008

• Co-skipper of the Croatian Off-shore duo for the Olympic Games in Paris with Ivica Kostelic

• Member of different Women sailing teams as helm/tactician/founder: BBcrew, MIRAcool, Femmes Fatales Sailing and WOBi
